Robin at a Glance...
Hey y'all! I graduated from Auburn University in May 2022 with a major in Marketing and a minor in Intercultural Communication.
When I'm not studying, you can find me playing board games with my friends, cheering on Auburn sports (War Eagle!!), or cooking a really good meal. During my time as a college student, I worked two part time jobs with The Kimmell Foundation and the Office of Professional and Career Development, both of which gave me the opportunity to design and develop. I am passionate about building relationships, creating, and learning, and I look forward to finding a full-time job where I am able to practice these things!
Harbert College of Business
I had the incredible privilege of learning from experienced professors and talented peers at Auburn University. As a Peer Instructor and member of the Learning Leadership Council with the OPCD, I worked alongside career coaches to instruct students how to write resumes, communicate their strengths, and discover their career paths. The OPCD's goal is to help students become ethical leaders in their future workspaces so they can create environments that prioritize valuing people.
The Navigators
No, we aren't a sailing club ;)
The heart of The Navigators is to know Christ and make Him known, and I loved serving as a student leader for this awesome global organization. I helped form and lead a freshmen cohort, participated in community service trips in other states, and attended a summer training program. Over many cups of hot tea and bowls of Panda Express, I gotten to develop intentional relationships with the freshmen girls, mentoring them and growing together. Navs has taught me to listen well, ask good questions, and share joy.
A Good Time
My schedule is pretty packed, but I am never too busy to make memories with my friends! A typical day off includes exploring local coffee shops, working on my paint-by-numbers, and lounging by the pool. I will never pass up an opportunity to watch my boys in blue in Jordan Hare Stadium or the Auburn Arena. A late night featuring a Christopher Nolan film or a Tolkien book is always an evening well spent.
The Sunshine State
Although the plains of Auburn, Alabama were a beautiful place to be, my home will always be in the heartland of Florida. Lake Placid is a beautiful place with a strong sense of community. It's home to many rows of caladiums, lots of diversity, and the people I love most. I can't imagine a better place to grow up, and I am thankful for the people and experiences from my hometown that shaped me into who I am today.
